The Travel Group
The aim of the Group is to gather together persons who have similar interests in travelling and in furthering the mind.
The group has been running very successfiully for quite a number of years.
We always have a travel table at the Wednesday morning coffee morning where people can come and chat, and book anything that is available at the time. Unfortunately you do have to book early with us as it seems we are very popular with our choices of destination.
Suggestions are always very welcome for possible places of interest.
The object is to promote a happy healthy relationship with people who want to travel and prefer to travel with friendship and companionship, hassle free and in comfort. Mostly our holidays and excursions are taken in comfortable air conditioned coaches mainly with local companies that we have built good relationships with.
Places we have visited include: Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Norway and many destinations within the U.K.
Day trips are too numerous to mention but we have, over the years, covered many many miles.
