This group operates on Fridays, from 2.00 to 3.00pm in the Community Centre. It is a new group which first met in November 2006.

The broad aim is to involve participants in as many activities as possible, the basis being a Book and CD course that will be used every week.

The leader will attempt to develop the following skills. Listening - to CDs and dictation, Pronunciation, Speaking, Reading, Writing and Conversation.

All the basic grammar will be covered. Above all, however, the aim is to get people involved in the language, communication being much more important than formal skills.

The Group Leader is Rod Winfield.
