The next Speaker date will be Friday 20th Jan. 2012, when Brent Knoll resident John Page will be coming to give his talk: ‘The Fox and Goose’.
Brent Knoll Church has a famous set of bench-ends depicting the ‘Fox and Goose’ story. A novel theory about their origin will be discussed, demonstrating aspects of the ancient, long-running hostility between the Bishop of Bath and Wells and the Abbot of Glastonbury.
