OUR OBJECTIVES ARE
To advance the education of the public, and in particular those no longer in full time employment, in Burnham and the surrounding area.
To provide facilities for leisure time and recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO COFFEE MORNING VENUE AND DAY OF THE WEEK With effect from 5th November 2009, the U3A Coffee Morning will be held in
The Burnham on Sea Community Centre
and will take place on THURSDAY mornings from 10.am to 11.30am.
We hope this move will allow for separation of those who wish to do the quiz and those who wish to just chat. It will allow a separate room for the business tables and above all, IT WILL SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY CENTRE without which our U3A and indeed the whole town would be much the poorer.
